On October 1st, 2024, at 10:00 AM, the University of Maribor hosted a vibrant and exciting Welcome Reception for the new batch of Erasmus students. The event saw the participation of 300 international students representing over 20 countries, with the largest groups hailing from Spain, Portugal, and France.

This year, the most popular faculties among the Erasmus students are the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, the Faculty of Economics and Business, and the Faculty of Arts. The Welcome Reception provided students with an excellent opportunity to connect with one another and get to know the rich cultural and academic environment Maribor has to offer.

The lively atmosphere of the event fostered a sense of community and excitement, ensuring that all participants felt welcomed and prepared for the academic journey ahead.
